I. Effective Coverage Period
This warranty is valid from the date your item is delivered or picked up. A valid proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
II. Warranty Scope and Duration
Forma Home stands behind the quality of our furnishings. The following coverage applies:
- Sofa Frames – Covered under a non-transferable limited warranty for two (2) years.
- Bed Frames – Covered under a non-transferable limited warranty for one (1) year.
This warranty is strictly limited to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use.
III. Warranty Exclusions
The following conditions and scenarios fall outside the scope of our warranty coverage:
- Normal Wear and Tear – This includes, but is not limited to, surface abrasions, scratches, discoloration, pilling, deformation of filling materials, and staining.
- Incorrect Assembly or Installation – Damages resulting from improper setup by the customer or third parties.
- Product Modifications – Any alterations from the original design void the warranty.
- Improper Cleaning – Damages caused by chemical agents or incorrect cleaning practices.
- Misuse or Abuse – This includes standing on furniture, jumping on beds, or commercial use of residential-grade items.
- Consequential or Incidental Damage – Examples include scratched floors, damaged walls, or loss of personal items.
- Environmental Exposure – Use of indoor-rated products in outdoor or unsuitable environments.
IV. Assembled Goods Disclaimer
Extra care must be taken when assembling items that require customer assembly:
- Inspect all parts and hardware prior to assembly.
- All claims for defective or missing parts must be made before assembly begins.
- Damages due to improper assembly or mishandling of components, such as chipped finishes or stripped fasteners, are not covered.
V. Warranty Claim Resolution
Forma Home will assess and resolve all warranty claims at its sole discretion. Depending on the nature of the issue, possible remedies include:
- Replacement of defective parts at no cost.
- Complimentary repair services.
- Partial refund or full refund, where applicable.
- Product exchange or return authorization.
Forma Home reserves the right to amend the terms of this warranty at any time. The warranty version in effect at the time of your purchase will govern your order and claim rights. A record of previous policy versions is maintained for reference.
